This single‐story family care center is located adjacent to the Desert Aids project. The clinic offers a wide range of services to City and County residents.
This mixed‐use facility is in the newly dedicated development area of Mecca, aiming to improve access to County facilities for the local
residents. The project is comprised of a new library, a sheriff’s office, and an office for the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District.
The project site and floor plans provide for access through a shared entry lobby with individual entry points to each of the three occupancies.
This County‐sponsored project provides much needed medical and social
services to the communities of Mecca, Thermal, and Oasis.
The development is sensitive to the cultural roots of the local population
and incorporates design strategies to mitigate the effects of the severe desert climate.
IDLA is currently assisting the City of Rialto with the expansion of its existing library, with the goal of enhancing and beautifying the library’s front façade, and enclosing an open patio area to use as meeting and computer training rooms, storage closets and bathrooms. The scope includes the schematic design, construction documents, and bidding and construction.
The new 57,500‐SF, four‐story building has state of the art equipment and incorporates healing environment design. Healing environment design elements include a rock and water cascade pool in the main lobby; Healing and Wellness Roof Garden on the 2nd floor, which has 5 main zones, each zone becomes more meditative; 5 zones of healing gardens.
IDLA provided landscape architecture design services to this medical building that incorporates many energy saving elements, including white roof, steel skin, insulated glass, and a thermal storage unit.
The project has been constructed and received substantial credits from the City due to its energy saving elements.
This new clinic, located at the edge of Rubidoux’s redevelopment district, offers a wide range of outpatient healthcare services to the public. The
facility includes a dental suite, pharmacy, and spaces for the WIC program as well as public health nursing and education services.
IDLA provided design and construction documents for the landscape architectural portion of this new medical building in downtown Pomona. IDLA worked with the client and the City regarding a wall design, provided street tree improvement plans. The landscape plans include planting, hardscape, street furniture and outdoor lighting.
In order to create a sense of place and create an environment that reflects its status as a thriving art community, the City of Riverside hired IDLA to create downtown design standards and design and over see construction of the Main Street Mall renovation. IDLA provided landscape architectural services to a variety of upgrades to this hospital sitting on a 30.4‐acre campus. Improvements include:
Master Plan Update. In order to meet an annual 8 percent increase in inpatient growth, the hospital turned to our team to expand hospital facilities, add new buildings, and assess vehicular and pedestrian circulation. IDLA worked with SWA Architectural Firm to provide landscaping plans for this 25‐year Master Plan. The landscaping relates to both the new and existing buildings, and integrates screening trees, small flowering accent trees and canopy trees in the parking lot to provide shade.
Medians. As part of the Master Plan, IDLA was selected to provide median and right of way upgrades along McBean Parkway. IDLA provided planting plans and details, irrigation plans, specifications for the upgrades.
IDLA provided site planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents and bidding assistance for the construction of this new XXX‐SF Family Care Clinic for the City of Hemet. IDLA incorporated ADA accessibility into the design, and provided planting plans with city‐approved trees.
