IDLA provided Landscape Architectural services to NJ Resources for its project with Edison Mission Energy.
IDLA produced Conceptual Landscape exhibits for submittal to the California Energy Commission for this proposed peaker power plant. The main objective was to screen the proposed 90’ high exhaust stacks. IDLA worked closely with CH2MHILL, the project engineer, to describe project screening from Key Observation Points. Support text, proposed plant material description and images were provided in support of the exhibits. Information regarding irrigation system requirements, the use of recycled water, and an estimate for construction costs were provided.

Inland Empire Energy Project, Romoland, Riverside County, CA
IDLA provided Landscape Architectural services to NJ Resources, Calpine Energy and GE Energy for this project.
Initially for NJ Resources, IDLA produced Conceptual Landscape exhibits for submittal to the California Energy Commission for this proposed power plant. IDLA’s main objective was to screen the proposed 150’ high exhaust stacks. IDLA worked closely with the entire consultant team to describe project screening from Key Observation Points. Of critical importance were
tree growth rates to provide required screening by mandated time frames. Support text, graphics and proposed plant material description and images were provided in support of the exhibits. Information regarding irrigation system requirements and the use of recycled water was provided as well as estimates for construction costs.
Following approval by the California Energy Commission, IDLA produced full landscape improvement plans, specifications and estimates for on‐site and off‐site landscape planting, irrigation and construction. Recycled water irrigation plans and recycled water use exhibits were prepared for review by Eastern Municipal Water District. All agency submittals and processing was provided by IDLA through approvals.
IDLA provided full bidding phase support and construction phase observation including submittal review and construction review through final approvals.
